Amidst the worsening of the situation and reintroducing the state of emergency in Aleksinac due to the pandemic, RWF has supported the Association of Roma Women NADA in their preventive acting against the virus spreading. On this occasion, the group has distributed hygiene products in Žitkovac and Prćilovica, where dozens of Roma families live, many of them without adequate living conditions. With this action, the group continues with care about their nearest community in what we have already supported them earlier. The action has also included informing the endangered families about the preventive measures against the virus. Due to the lack of systemic support, continuous care for marginalized people remains a highly important task, especially in the ongoing situation.
