Later, instead of founding organizations, the role of co-founders was taken over by Svenka Savi\u0107<\/strong>, Slavica Stojanovi\u0107<\/strong>, Stanislava Zajovi\u0107<\/strong>, and Mirjana Mirosavljevi\u0107 Bobi\u0107<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The members of the Managing Board during the first twenty years of the RWF were Svenka Savi\u0107<\/strong>, Jovanka Zlatkovi\u0107<\/strong>, Hedvig Morvai Horvat<\/strong>, Gordana Stojakovi\u0107<\/strong>, Ana Bu<\/strong>, Stanislava Zajovi\u0107<\/strong>, Snje\u017eana Milivojevi\u0107<\/strong>, Sonja Liht<\/strong>, Slavica Stojanovi\u0107<\/strong>, Jadranka Jelin\u010di\u0107<\/strong>, Du\u0161ica Parezanovi\u0107<\/strong>, Olga Manojlovi\u0107 Pintar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initially, there was also a Supervisory Board (removed with changes to the Statute in 2015), and its members were: Aleksandra Vesi\u0107<\/strong>, Tanja Pavlov<\/strong>, and Katarina Jeremi\u0107<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After foundation, the head of the fund was Slavica Stojanovi\u0107. Later on, she alternated with Mirjana Mirosavljevi\u0107 in that position, and after 2018, the coordination of the fund was taken over first by Milica Mira\u017ei\u0107<\/strong>, then Marija Jakovljevi\u0107<\/strong>, and \u0110ur\u0111a Trajkovi\u0107<\/strong>, the current fund coordinator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The working team of the fund during these first 20 years consisted of: Slavica Stojanovi\u0107<\/strong>, Mirjana Mirosavljevi\u0107 Bobi\u0107<\/strong>, Zoe Gudovi\u0107<\/strong>, Marija Jakovljevi\u0107<\/strong>, Milica Mira\u017ei\u0107<\/strong>, Galina Maksimovi\u0107<\/strong>, Ana Im\u0161irovi\u0107 \u0110or\u0111evi\u0107<\/strong>, \u0110ur\u0111a Trajkovi\u0107<\/strong>, Irena Jovanovi\u0107<\/strong>, Diana Miladinovi\u0107 Zeba<\/strong>, Alma Mustajba\u0161i\u0107<\/strong>, and Nata\u0161a Ivane\u017ea<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the years, RWF\u2019s finances, website, design and functioning computers were made possible by the vital support of Vajka An\u0111elkovi\u0107<\/strong>, Vladimir Jeri\u0107 Vlidi<\/strong>, Katarina Popovi\u0107 Kata<\/strong>, Marija Vidi\u0107<\/strong>, Dejan Brankov<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u017darana Papi\u0107 stipend<\/strong> program<\/a> has existed ever since 2004 till this very day \u2013 providing support for activists\/academics to acquire knowledge in areas related to gender\/women’s and peace issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2004 to 2015, there was a support program for women’s groups called Women’s Initiatives<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2004 to 2012, RWF actively participated in marking and organizing the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence<\/strong> campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grant making program Special Focus<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>was established in 2006, and since 2016 it has been focused on the topics of antimilitarism, antinationalism, antiracism… Selected, interesting, and diverse examples of groups supported through this program can be seen here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with the Center for Women’s Studies and Gender Research from Novi Sad, RWF published the book by Sabrina P. Ramet<\/strong>, Religion and Politics in Times of Change: Catholic and Orthodox Churches in Central and Southeastern Europe<\/em><\/strong>, translated by Jasminka Bo\u0161njak<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In partnership with Women in Black from Belgrade and the Center for Women’s Studies and Gender Research from Novi Sad, RWF published the anthology Someone Said Feminism?: How Feminism Has Influenced Women of the 21st Century<\/em><\/strong>, edited by Adriana Zaharijevi\u0107<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

<\/path><\/svg><\/span>2010<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The book Becoming a Woman<\/em><\/strong> by Adriana Zaharijevi\u0107<\/strong> was published and can be found online at rwfund.org\/2013\/10\/31\/citajte-adriana-zaharijevic-postajanje-zenom<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2010 RWF has been mapping events and actions dedicated to the 8th of March<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>in Serbia. Since 2014 the maps have also included activities from the countries of former Yugoslavia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First edition of the festival JOYFULNESS CRAZINESS<\/strong><\/a> was held. It was organized in partnership with the Museum of Yugoslav History and the poets initiative Pesni\u010denje. The joyfullness and craziness and all the exchange under the same name, filled with joyfulness and craziness, have lived on until today.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n

<\/path><\/svg><\/span>2011<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From 2011 until 2014, within the program Special Focus, there has been a program named Roma Girl\u2019s Solidarity<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this program, in 2012, Columbian director Patricia Ariza <\/strong>directed a play titled Pasarela<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, resulting from her work with Roma girls and young women from Leskovac, Ni\u0161, Vlasotince, Pirot, Vranje, Bujanovac, and with art activists from the collective Act Women from Belgrade. Later that year, a movie about the performance was made, also named Pasarela<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the same program, in 2014, performance Presence in Life!<\/em><\/strong> was created in partnership with the Puppet Theatre Ni\u0161, SOS for Women and Children Victims of Violence Vlasotince, Ternipe and Women from the South from Pirot. The performance Presence in Life!<\/em> was staged by Roma girls and young women from Ni\u0161, Vlasotince, Pirot, and art activists from the group Act Women from Belgrade, who all took part in a seven-day theatre work with Ana Woolf<\/strong> and Vera Ribeiro<\/strong>. A film about the project<\/a> was made by Nada Pleskonji\u0107<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2011, RWF started sharing its online publications<\/a> with its readers (part of it published only online and part also printed in paper).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Book Violence Against Women in Intimate Partner Relationship: Model for Coordinated Community Response<\/em><\/strong><\/a> written by Tanja Ignjatovi\u0107<\/strong> was published.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In partnership with Women in Black from Belgrade and Center for Women\u2019s Studies, RWF published Ethics of Courage \/ Ksenija Atanasijevi\u0107<\/em><\/strong> edited by Ljiljana Vuleti\u0107<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2011 to 2014 RWF shared with the readers the literature written by rebellious women<\/a> – Rosa Luxemburg<\/strong>, Audre Lorde<\/strong>, bell hooks<\/strong>, Virginia Woolf,<\/strong> Jasmina Te\u0161anovi\u0107<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

<\/path><\/svg><\/span>2012<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Short bilingual booklet \u201cTo je moj izve\u0161taj vama \/ This Is My Report To You\u201d<\/strong><\/a> was published (translation to English by Jasmina Te\u0161anovi\u0107<\/strong>), containing quotes from \u017darana Papi\u0107<\/strong>. \u017darana Papi\u0107 was a political activist whose legacy pushes us to keep opposing fascism and nationalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on the book and in production of RWF, a short movie under the same name<\/a> was created, containing quotes and original audio materials from texts, discussions and lectures of \u017darana Papi\u0107. Movie was directed by Vladimir \u0160ojat<\/strong> and was translated to sign language, with the idea of continuous questioning of thoughts and ideas (sign language interpreter was Vera Jovanovi\u0107<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with the Faculty of Political Sciences – Center for Gender Studies and Politics and Women in Black from Belgrade, RWF published the book \u017darana Papi\u0107: Texts 1977-2002<\/strong><\/em> (edited by Adriana Zaharijevi\u0107<\/strong>, Zorica Ivanovi\u0107<\/strong> and Da\u0161a Duha\u010dek<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n

RWF published the book Gypsy Sexuality: Romani and Outsider Perspectives on Intimacy<\/em><\/strong>, edited by Chad Nirenberg<\/strong>, with translations by Slavica Stojanovi\u0107<\/strong>, Silvia Dra\u017ei\u0107<\/strong>, Jelena Jovanovi\u0107<\/strong>, Milica Turni\u0107<\/strong>, Olivera Babi\u0107<\/strong>, Radoslava Aralica<\/strong>, Veronika Mitro<\/strong>, Ksenija Livada<\/strong>, Jasmina Te\u0161anovi\u0107<\/strong>, Iva Kljaki\u0107<\/strong>, Emilia Epstein<\/strong>, and Ana Zorbi\u0107<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the feminist philanthropy program, Zoe Gudovi\u0107<\/strong> started a series of interviews titled “They Inspire and Motivate Us”.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2013 to 2015, there was a support program for the activism of young women<\/a>, specifically for groups that were created, led, and carried out by young women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign UNCLOG YOURSELF \u2013 PLUG IN WHERE NEEDED!<\/strong> was conducted, which included “Delicacy Monday”<\/strong> at Cultural Centre Grad, with the support of BeFem and Act Women.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

<\/path><\/svg><\/span>2014<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The General Support<\/strong> program<\/a> was started and continues to this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Celebration of the 10th anniversary of RWF<\/strong> in CZKD (Center for Cultural Decontamination) together with the JOYFULNESS CRAZINESS festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RWF marks the Anti-War Centenary of the First World War<\/strong> by publishing books, texts and poetry under the same name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In partnership with Women in Black from Belgrade, RWF published a book Top\u010dider Case \u2013 Anatomy of the State\u2019s Crime<\/em><\/strong> written by Bojan Ton\u010di\u0107<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2014 to 2016 activist-donor interventions<\/a> of Reconstruction Women\u2019s Fund were organized due to the floods<\/strong> which affected the worst the ones already most vulnerable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RWF launched the first out of many benefit events titled Sisters are doing it best<\/strong><\/a>. First Sisters were held in Social Centre Oktobar for collecting solidarity support for the victims of the floods. By 2022, more than 18 events were held in various spaces and for various solidarity purposes.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n

After long years of renting flats at several locations in Belgrade, RWF bought its forever home in Bra\u0107e Baruh 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In June 2015, Slavica Stojanovi\u0107, Svenka Savi\u0107, Stanislavka Zajovi\u0107 and Mirjana Mirosavljevi\u0107 Bobi\u0107 were registered as founders of RWF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In honor of the Student Day, on the 4th of April, RWF began publishing translations in the section Critical Themes<\/strong> within the edition of \u201cSources of Epistemology – Critical Life\u201d<\/strong> (by December 2023, 30 translations were published, including speeches, texts, movies and interviews by Edward Snowden<\/strong>, Jasbir Puar<\/strong>, Italo Calvino<\/strong>, Wendy Brown<\/strong>, Klara Matei<\/strong> and many more.)<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

RWF published a book A Model of Temporary Housing \u2013 From Concept to Realization: The Roma Settlement Example<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New section on the website was created – Focus on Focus<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 sharing various inspirational actions, projects, publications and events supported through Special Focus program.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n

Educational campaign How Sisters Could do it the Best<\/strong><\/a> was launched. Same year, a publication under the same title was created and edited by Marija Jakovljevi\u0107<\/strong> and Zoe Gudovi\u0107<\/strong>. In partnership with Bulevar Books from Novi Sad, RWF published a book of poetry This Is Not Home: Female Poets on Migration<\/em><\/strong> edited by Jelena An\u0111elovska<\/strong> and Vitomirka Trebovac<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

RWF supported Women in Black<\/strong> to translate and publish the book Agonistic Mourning: Political Dissidence and the Women in Black<\/em><\/strong> by Athena Athanasiou<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the COVID-19 pandemic and consequential crisis, RWF adapted at all levels and flexed its actions in accordance with the situation, with emergency and rapid support it provided, adequate forms of cooperation and solidarity, and other activities.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

<\/path><\/svg><\/span>2021<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A new group of translations has been added to the website\u2019s section Critical Issues<\/strong>, as part of the Feminist Reader<\/strong> edition. This selection was made in collaboration with Katarina Lon\u010darevi\u0107<\/strong> from the Gender Studies program at the Faculty of Political Sciences, in order to provide the program participants with texts previously untranslated but used in the study program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New section on the website was launched – Why We Donate<\/strong><\/a> – a series of interviews and videos where we think out loud, talk and try to provide answer to the question – why do we donate?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Online donations<\/strong><\/a> with just a few mouse clicks were made possible! (the only options to donate before were via bank transfer or e-banking, either by single donation or by creating regular monthly payments \u2013 of course, these options remain available). First fundraising campaign for the \u017darana Papi\u0107 Stipends<\/strong> was launched and it was primarily directed towards individual donors from the diaspora.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n

RWF hosted a cross-regional meeting of the \u201cOn the Right Track\u201d<\/strong> initiative<\/a>. Over 100 activists and members of women\u2019s funds from more than 30 countries of Europe and Latin America gathered in Belgrade. The meeting was the first opportunity for activists and women\u2019s funds from the two continents to meet, exchange knowledge and experiences and start creating a collective response to the ever growing anti-gender threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
