{"id":48,"date":"2014-09-18T01:53:46","date_gmt":"2014-09-17T23:53:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rwfund.org\/eng\/?page_id=48"},"modified":"2015-06-02T18:51:29","modified_gmt":"2015-06-02T16:51:29","slug":"mirror-program-of-support-of-young-womens-activism","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.rwfund.org\/eng\/programs-old\/mirror-program-of-support-of-young-womens-activism\/","title":{"rendered":"Mirror &#8211; Program of Support of Young Women\u2019s Activism"},"content":{"rendered":"<hr \/>\n<p>This program is intended\u00a0<b>primarily for young women who critically think on reality, take a clear stand in defense of their rights, are not afraid of confrontation and struggle<\/b>\u00a0against various forms of injustice, who will turn the anger into creative actions, and \u00a0who are not obedient and want to change what is &#8220;pinching&#8221; them.<\/p>\n<p>We are witnessing a critical moment of increased partocracy, religious fundamentalism, recruitment of young people into right-wing organizations which advocate and demonstrate high level of discrimination and violence against DIFFERENT. In context like this, young women are very often exposed to multiply discrimination &#8211; being women, being young and even more complicated, being of different ethnicity, nationality, class, sexual orientation, ability&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Reconstruction Women&#8217;s Fund\u00a0sees young women as the leaders and actors of social changes.<\/p>\n<p>Program\u00a0<b>MIRROR<\/b>\u00a0wants to motivate and support organized young women, from 16 to 30 years of age, all around Serbia, to actively participate in making decisions that impact their lives.
