Just like last year, the focus remained on our deep concerns: militarization of the society, nationalism and racism. They penetrate into all social spheres and it is clear to us that we have to oppose them at all levels, nationwide and in different ways. Therefore, this year we supported groups from Vlasotince, Novi Sad, Belgrade, Prijepolje, Novi Be\u010dej, Ni\u0161, Kru\u0161evac, and Leskovac, which work in their local communities, but also groups which projects are being realized across the country. While some groups worked with local population, others gathered activists from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Montenegro, and Macedonia. min-width:100%;\" width=\"100%\" class=\"mcnTextContentContainer\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\" class=\"mcnTextContent\" style=\"padding: 0px 18px 9px;color: #999999;font-family: Arial, "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14px;line-height: 150%;\">\n<p> Within the Special Focus programme in 2017 we have also supported the association <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/zenepolimlja\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color:#ff6666\">\u201e\u017dene Polimlja\u201d<\/span><\/a> from Prijepolje and their educational programme <span style=\"color:#ff6666\">Save Our Rights<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Goal of the programme was to rethink together how the religion, tradition and cultural heritage get instrumentalized for restricting and jeopardizing human rights, as well as for justifying different forms of violence against women. In the 2018 budget we see that the amounts assigned for defence and internal affairs are increased, while amounts for other fields, such as culture, education and science, are decreased.<\/p>\n<p>Our whole lives we have been working for small or big money but rarely stopped to ask ourselves: <span style=\"color:#ff6666\">WHERE OUR MONEY GOES TO?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p>The <span style=\"color:#ff6666\">publication<\/span> we will present will explain why we initiated the educational campaign.
