Campaign Call 2009"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-8f89a4dc gb-headline-text\"><strong>Campaign \u201c16 Days of Activism against Violence against Women\u201d 2009<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CORE CRITERIA:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The call was open&nbsp;<strong>exclusively to WOMEN\u2019S NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS;&nbsp;<\/strong>Just like each year, the campaign\u2019s essence remained based on volunteering, hence the expenses that couldn\u2019t be covered within this call were the EXPENSES OF FEES FOR THE ACTIVISTS taking part in the local actions;<br><\/li><li>The campaign\u2019s thematic framework was MURDERED WOMEN (FEMICIDE), but this wasn\u2019t a restriction regarding local actions, the groups were autonomously deciding on themes and violence manifestations that matter to them (ant their local environment) the most and the ones they want to deal with through the campaign;&nbsp;<br><\/li><li>THE OVERALL BUDGET for this open call was&nbsp;<strong>USD 5.000 (support from Unifem)<\/strong>, so the expenses of local actions couldn\u2019t be high;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Minding the modest budget, the agreement implied that if we receive more applications for local actions than we can support, IN SOLIDARITY, the advantage was given to the groups lacking financial and organizational capabilities because of the underdevelopment of the environments in which they work and live or because of discrimination based on content they work on;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The traveling feminist performance and accompanying program were hosted in&nbsp;<strong>Vranje, Ni\u0161, Knja\u017eevac, Belgrade and Novi Sad<\/strong>, so the advantage regarding the open call was given to the groups from places to which the performance hasn\u2019t<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>APPLICATION MECHANISM:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>On memos, the groups were sending the suggestions of local actions they are planning, with&nbsp;<strong>as detailed descriptions of the activities as possible and a detailed budget;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><li>The groups were sending the suggestions of local actions to Reconstruction Women\u2019s Fund\u2019s email,&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:office@rwfund.org\"><strong>office@rwfund.org<\/strong><\/a>;<\/li><li>The suggestions were accepted until 10<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;November<\/li><li>The selection committee was deciding on supporting the suggestions of local actions until 15<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;November, and right after that, the groups were informed about the results of the open call, as well as contracts if their suggestion was supported.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this open call, we have supported the following groups:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Fenomena, Kraljevo<\/strong>, 30.000 RSD<\/li><li><strong>Alternative Circle, Kragujevac<\/strong>, 13.400 RSD<\/li><li><strong>Hera, Ba\u010dka Topola<\/strong>, 16.000 RSD<\/li><li><strong>Human Rights Committee, Majdanpek<\/strong>, 30.000 RSD<\/li><li><strong>Impuls, Tutin<\/strong>, 30.000 RSD<\/li><li><strong>Roma Association Danica, Pan\u010devo<\/strong>, 25.950 RSD<\/li><li><strong>Sandglass, Kru\u0161evac<\/strong>, 14.900 RSD<\/li><li><strong>Rromnjako Ilo, Zrenjanin<\/strong>, 30.000 RSD<\/li><li><strong>Women\u2019s Centre U\u017eice<\/strong>, 30.000 RSD<\/li><li><strong>Roma Association, Novi Be\u010dej<\/strong>, 30.000 RSD<\/li><li><strong>SOS Vlasotince<\/strong>, 30.000 RSD<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Campaign \u201c16 Days of Activism against Violence against Women\u201d 2009 CORE CRITERIA:&nbsp;
