Street performance traveling through cities in Serbia has been central to the campaign for 8 years. One aspect of social\/political problem of male violence against women is in the focus of the performance each year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Incest Trauma Center data: one in four girls in Serbia survive some form of sexual abuse.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Autonomous Women\u2019s Center data:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>80% of sexual perpetrators are familiar to victims<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>over 70% of cases of sexual abuse happen in familiar spaces<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>87% of rape cases include death threats, in 50% threats with weapons. \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Despite these statistics, women sexual abuse survivors are blamed in their surrounding and face inadequate protection by the state.<\/p>\n<p>Street performance\u00a0<strong>MY BODY MY TERRITORY\u00a0<\/strong>is dedicated to women sexual abuse survivors. It tells about complex process a woman with sexual abuse experience goes through.
