Reconstruction Women’s Fund is for seven years supporting and working with women’s groups, collectives, initiatives and individual activists across Serbia.
Through our four main programs, so far we supported over 80 different groups in 33 cities in Serbia.
This year we continue the development of local philanthropy and access to individual donors.
Our first trip through the local philanthropy was the sailing and spending time with Labud Ražnjatović who invited us to his boat, introduced to his friends and with whom we hope to achieve long-term cooperation.
Svetlana Sarić our friend from the group SOS Vlasotince and Biljana Stanković-Lori from Novi Sad Lesbian Organization were invited to present their work, as well as a broader concept of human rights: from the deconstruction of patriarchy and violence to the right on difference.
We had a presentation on a raft BARKA, where mostly men have gathered and were very supportive, ready for dialogue and cooperation.
The opening of the new spaces and opportunities for a wider circle of people to hear about us is one of the goals of Reconstruction Women’s Fund, not only to increase the visibility of our work, but also to involve and engage more people who find very important to donate certain funds in the activities and continuous development of women’s movement.
