Pasarela!

Artstically engaged film PASARELA! documents the performance under the same name, created in collaboration between Reconstruction Women’s Fund and Colombian theatre director Patricia Ariza. The film shows interconnectedness of social phenomena like violence against women, early marriages, femicide, and depicts lives and struggles on the margins of society.

PASARELA invites the sense of responsibility and reflection on our own lives, and gives a strong voice to the movement in struggle for better future!

Pasarela is a defense of the diversity of bodies, sizes, ages, traditions, choices, memories, voices, visions and ways of thinking of the women.

(Patricia Ariza)

The main actors in the film are participants of the thorough process guided by Patricia Ariza – the Roma girls from Leskovac, Niš, Vlasotince, Pirot, Vranje and Bujanovac, and art activists from the group Act Women from Belgrade.
