Reconstruction Women’s Fund in the action “SISTERS ARE DOING IT BEST 8” invites you together to step into the world of autonomy and solidarity, where freedom of movement is possible to all – Tuesday, June 28, 8 – 11 p.m. Ljutić, Stevana Sremca 5, Belgrade!
That is why this evening as the guests we have dear friends from No Border Collective. They will bring their KRŠ ART works! Marvelous people in this collective have been in daily struggle for the rights of migrants. They go to the borders where living conditions for some people are like a life sentence, testify to the overall segregation based on nationality, about violence and detention of people without documents.
Come and see the KRŠ ART handcrafts from recycled materials (badges, greeting cards, stickers, no border needlework, collages, broaches… you can also donate your own works! :). Since we are against market logics, we don’t want to calculate prices. The idea is that everyone may give what one has and wants and the money goes to the right cause!
Marko Milićević will be DJ of migrant blues on the way to the promised land, Syrian dabke and the sound of dombra and rubab. Music is waiting for you in the garden of the magic café Ljutić, with Cakana the donation box and handful of handcrafts which could become part of your life.
