DAH teatar, Belgrade
RSD: 108.160
With this grant, we have supported DAH teatre in organizing guest appearance of Iranian artists Mahshad Afshar and Mahshid Torkan, the authors of the film Understanding Women’s Activism in Iran through cinema, who were guests at the prologue of the festival Arts and Human Rights. The visit from the Iranian artists is particularly important in the context of current and intensified violations of women’s rights in Iran and international understanding and solidarity with women in Iran.
Women for peace, Leskovac
RSD: 150.000
After being exposed to attacks of local powermen and leaders of a local GONGO, the activists of Women for Peace remained at a minimum of available working assets, while they are facing the danger of soon remaining without any assets. With this grant, RWF supports the organization in urgent bridging of a crisis period.
Children’s Centre, Zaječar
RSD: 84.900
After years of conflicts with the city authorities due to their progressive actions, the organization, alongside with the organization L-Down, has been forcefully evicted from the public space that was awarded to them, and now has to find assets for renting a private space. With this grant, RWF supports the organization in the form of three-month rent for enabling uninterrupted work.
