With this grant, RWF supports the union members, women textile workers, who are collectively suing their employer for unpaid working Saturdays, and who have received a court order to urgently pay for the judicial expert opinion. We consider that the eventual court ruling in favor of the workers, for what the judicial expert opinion is one of the key elements, would work not only in favor of these specific workers but also to others who may be enticed to unionize for reaching their rights, especially in the marginalized and exploatatory textile sector.
