- Name of the project: Promotion of Affirmative Action for enrollment of Roma girls in high schools and universities
- Project goal: Due to the very short deadline to apply for affirmative measures which are giving certain benefits to Roma girls and young women to enroll in the high school or university they choose, and lack of information when and how they can use it, lot of Roma girls stayed without possibility to continue their education. Roma Researchers decided to promptly organize informative tribunes in eleven municipalities and surrounding villages where Roma girls are living to explain the whole procedure and motivate them at the same time for further schooling.
- RWF rapid response grant has been used to cover travel, communication and costs of refreshment for tribunes.
- At the end, 40 Roma girls who were attending the tribunes, enrolled the first grade of high school, and more importantly, the school of their first choice.
