In continuing our work on the program Feminist Philanthropy, where we try, next to the actions for collecting money and encouraging individual donations, to present you the remarkable women who move boundaries, teach us new issues, inspire and make a personal impact – we have an opportunity to present you an exceptional woman Julia Varley, actress, director, professor and writer.
Within our program Feminist Philanthropy we continue to publish interviews we made with our friends all over the world. Investing money, time, knowledge, is an important part of our activism and work. Voices of feminists from various spheres of social, art and political life inspire and motivate us always.

Within our programme of feminist philanthropy it is important to us to raise the issues of investing money into women’s human rights, into a society where women would make changes, where we could hear opinions from various spheres. Within our program of Feminist philanthropy we were happy to host Marta Drury, our friend , long-term individual donor from the United States, peace and feminist activist , supporter of women’s groups, individuals and initiatives, founder and director of the Heart and Hand Fund. Since nineties, Marta supports lesbian, feminist and peace initiatives in the Balkans and in the USA. She was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005, as one of 1000 women for peace.

Reconstruction Women’s Fund started interventions in the field and informative fundraising actions “Sisters Are Doing It Best” as our form of rebellion against arrogance and spreading fear during floods in May: by the Church that blamed LGBT for the scourge of floods, by nationalist conservatives who wanted women to make corn breads for men working at embankments, by the State that censored exchange of information and thoughts among citizens. Our policy of solidarity has always been based on activism, cooperation, information sharing, inclusion and learning from each other, and these are ours and experiences of our closest collaborators.
Reconstruction Women’s Fund presents the book from the process of cooperation with a the team of (at the time) students of architecture!
