Two decades of work, fight, support, and solidarity. Hundreds of supported groups, festivals, events, and publications. How do we present all of this?
Between March 11 and March 13, we held the first meeting between feminist funds and grassroots organizations from Latin America and Europe in Belgrade, Serbia. This On the Right Track gathering was convened by 20 women’s funds and more than 45 partner organizations from both continents. This historical meeting leaves us with a powerful postcard, with over 100 participants waving their fists in solidarity between peoples and cultures, showing their eagerness to defend human rights and democracy together

Danka Spasovski is a licensed psychologist, consultant for women who have experienced physical, psychological, and sexual violence and trauma, and a stipend recipient of the Reconstruction Women’s Fund. As part of the campaign “Feminist Education – Fight for Peace,” we talked to her about the stipend program and the importance of feminist education today.

In the last few years, RWF is supporting Pushbackmap collective through our Special Focus program. The collective’s focus is on documenting and revealing systemic, institutional violence and pushbacks at the internal, external borders of the European Union and other places. By illegal and violent expulsion as well as denying them asylum procedures and international protection, the officials are destroying the dignity of people on the move.
Zeina Abdel Khalik is a feminist and human rights advocate. She has a BS in Biology (2002) and Masters in Public Health (2004) from The American University of Beirut. She is a certified gender trainer from KIT University- Amsterdam (2020) and has been working in the field of women’s rights and gender equality for the past 15 years.
Organization “Okular” from Ćićevac, founded by local activists who share ideas of equality, nonviolence, and philanthropy, has created, in the last year, with the support of program Special Focus a feminist school for girls and women form rural areas with the ideas of them starting their own feminist activists actions. On this occasion, we spoke with Aleksandra Milutinović about feminist school, activism and creating solidarity with younger activists.
