Rada Gujaničić is the president of the Managing board and an activist of Women’s Centre Užice, and our dear individual donor. She highlights that her activism is focused on opposing injustices such as unequal distribution of resources, as well as on a comprehensive, conscious and active struggle against the deterioration of women’s rights.

Knocking on EU’s Door: An Exploration of EU Funding for Gender Equality
In 2016, members of the Prospera International Network came together to create “Women’s Funds Europe” (WFE), a loosely- structured coalition of 12 women’s funds from 10 countries. Collectively, it launched “Knocking on EU’s Door,” an initiative centred on building capacity to engage with and influence European grantmakers.

RWF RESPONSE TO COVID-19 CRISIS
The global crisis caused by the pandemic of COVID-19 virus, as crises usually do, has made clear some of the structural problems of our society by additionally marginalizing already marginalized people. The state of emergency was enforced in March for a then undefined period of time, the measures were more and more restrictive, and the public was overwhelmed with oftentimes contradictory recommendations and information.
“Exchange for a Change” Action – THANK YOU!
At the end of 2019, we have organized a two-week holiday action Exchange for a Change, inviting all the interested people to join us as individual donors. To show them our gratitude, we have shared a small token of appreciation with all of them. 25 people took part in this action, with more than 15 of them being our first-time donors, donating 41.600 RSD and 192 Euros.
